1.African expeditionary bomb flew over a land of orient Libya Wednesday, descending digit bombs on an area mostly dominated by the opposition.
Youths in Ajdabiya were amassing and heading toward the conflict area to help defend the town, which has been in the control of rebel forces in recent days.

2.Not many North Koreans know anything about the pro-democracy unrest sweeping through the Middle East and North Africa. But South Korean activists and some politicians are trying to change that, sending helium balloons skywards across the border carrying hundreds of thousands of leaflets and DVDs.

6.Four more U.S. military flights were headed to Cairo from Tunisia on Sunday, evacuating Egyptians fleeing the Libyan conflict.

7.Throngs of people took part in a boisterous demonstration Sunday supporting Moammar Gadhafi and insisting that the government had triumphed in recovering key Libyan cities, despite witness accounts that the opposition maintained control in some of those sites.

8.Battles between rebels and Gadhafi's forces in Misrata leave scores dead as fighting continues on the city's outskirts.

9.China will make public government officials' assets in a gradual manner, said Zhao QiZheng, spokesman of CPPCC. Currently, government officials are required to report not only about their income, property and investment, but also about whether their spouses or children live abroad, to the departments or institutions they work in.

10.CPPCC National Committee Chairman Jia Qinglin delivers a report on the work of the CPPCC National Committee's Standing Committee over the past year at the opening of the Fourth Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. 11.Premier Wen Jiabao on Saturday unfolded the road map for China's social and economic development during the next five years, setting targets for the quality and efficiency of economic growth and speaking about the transformation of the growth mode and economic restructuring. While delivering his annual government work report, he also listed other priorities that include improving people's well-being, advancing education and healthcare, conserving natural resources and protecting the environment.

16.Subway has surpassed McDonald's to become the world's largest restaurant chain in terms of units, the sandwich company confirmed Monday.
